Police service?

It has always been police force and with whatever is happening around the country it will always be.
Force is being used on defenceless Kenyans.

Y'all know there's a curfew so what are you doing on the streets past 7 pm? Obey the orders and you'll be safe.

Though it doesn't give the men in uniform the right to cause more problems to Kenyans. We've got enough already, don't we?

Wakenya na Corona.

We Kenyans are well known of making use of opportunities when they arise which is a good thing. We are also known as the last minute people which is not a good thing especially when corona virus is spreading allover the world.

Just the other day a friend of mine told me that he will take the pandemic to be serious in Kenya when a hundred people will be dead. This is a person who commutes to the city each and every day. Is this the mentality?

The government is clear, take care of yourself and report to the nearest health centre if you notice  any symptoms related to the virus. This calls for personal responsibility and not only for you but for your beloved.

It is a killer virus on the loose and now it is very close to you. If you risk yourself, you risk the lives of the people you love. Do not wait until it strikes you or the person next door.

It is time for social distancing, time for social seclusion. Believe me, it is worth it.

A little bit of hell.

As a wise lady said, those people collecting papers on the streets own the brightest minds and the most brilliant ideas one could ever come up with. But what happened to them? I take time to think about  it and it's only one thing that I think happened. They missed a step.

But that was not the mistake. The mistake was them not accepting that they missed a step and working towards that. I'm not judging anybody here, all I want is to let you know  that the greatest mistake of all is not what you think it is.

A  little bit of hell is a perfect way to prepare you or me for any kind of fire lying ahead. Missing that one step is not a definition of you as a failure, it is a clearance to taking a better bolder step. It takes courage to rise again when one has fallen, to shine again when darkness is all over you and to re-establish yourself once all the strength is gone.

Take that tour to hell and don't let it break you, allow it to make you.

Love on the net.

It's no secret that love is a beautiful thing and the feeling it carries with it is special to each person. It is also unexplainable. Being in love they say, is the best feeling one could ever experience. Loving somebody who loves you back is definitely more than hitting a jack pot.

This conversation about whether or not one can find their soulmate online is one that's not ending soon. It is also not about to come to a conclusion at any near future. There is hope though.

There are confessions from lovebirds who met online and have established families together. It sounds like an impossibility but no, it is possible. Love on the net is real. Catch yours when you have the chance.

However be extra careful though, conmen and con-women are real too.
1 Do not send money to people you meet online.
2 Do not send personal details like emails, they could be hacked.
3 In case you plan to meet, inform your family about it and meet in an open place.
4 Do not agree to spend with them in their hotels. It could be dangerous.

Stolen or Recovered?

Traffic police in Embu county are still processing the 'heroic' action of a super snatcher who just snatched the bribe they had collected from one of them.

The police just stared in disbelief when the middle aged man disappeared in the crowd after collecting their 'hardly earned sweat' considering the hot weather in Kathageri along Embu-Meru highway.

But did the man really steal or did he recover what was illegally collected from the motorists in that area? Is that not what we call karma. It slapped these officers right on their faces.

What do you think about this self made 'hero' who did wonders in broad daylight? He put his fingers inside the lions mouth and he made it fine. That's what I think.

How do you say 'your mouth stinks'?

It's not obvious to have a great breath and it's also not obvious to have a mouth odour. A great breath takes a lot of care including brushing properly and having check ups with the dentists.

Have you noticed that people with a stinking breath talk a lot and they like it when they whisper so close to you. Sometimes I feel like they know that they have a really bad smell and they want you to feel it.

Here's the problem, do you say, you have a stinking smell from your mouth or, do you know that your mouth stinks? No, I think that's a little harsh. So how do you say it because you cannot pretend not to be disgusted. At some point, it's gonna get out so how do you want it to sound?

Simple. Find the words and be courageous enough to bring up that topic with the other person in a way that is sensitive to their emotions. If you are not strong enough buy a gift and write a message in it.

It's not hard after all. Don't stay quiet when you can actually help. Just say something.

Manipulation or Fate?

Ever watched a donkey at work? Its devotion and love for his job? Oh is it really the love or can I say that it's obedience to the master? Do you ever wonder whether it ever gets better for him? Does he ever consider quitting or is he comfortable and  contented with helping the master? Is it even helping or is it taking a fall for 'him'?

Let's get serious about this. A donkey falls ito a pit. A really deep pit. The master empties sand with an intent to burry the old donkey But the donkey is quick to think. 'If I step on this sand, i'm gonna get out and be free' the donkey thought. It got out eventually. But, don't you think that the master let it go.  He took it back to it's usual routine. Doing the hard work.

Do you think that the donkey had another option? And do you think that it was it's fate? Do you think that donkeys are manipulated? What happens when you find yourself in such a situation? Do you just give up and quit?
